Workshop “AI – New driving force for Da Nang development” slated for May 9

The Da Nang People’s Committee has just issued Plan No. 113/KH-UBND dated April 21, 2025 on organising the workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence (AI) – New driving force for Da Nang development”.

The workshop is organised to concretise the implementation plan of the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024, focusing on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and national digital transformation.

The event will promote Da Nang’s potential, advantages, investment opportunities, and preferential policies related to AI to attract investors. It will concentrate on gathering resources to develop AI applications in such key areas as public services, healthcare, education, and logistics.

Additionally, it will create a platform for experts and consultants to provide suggestions to perfect the policy framework and develop an intellectual development strategy for Da Nang. The goal is to attract foreign enterprises to implement startup projects in AI field as well as to seek investment funds to support startup businesses in the city.

Scheduled for Friday, May 9, 2025, the workshop will be held in a combined format, both in person and online. It will feature presentations, thematic discussions, and cooperation signing.

On the sidelines of the event, there will be an exhibition showcasing images and information from enterprises and training institutions, and highlighting notable AI products developed by Da Nang enterprises.
