In addition to tightening controls at all points of entry, the fuctional forces are knocking on doors in Da Nang to timely detect and handle anyone arriving in the city without passing COVID-19 checkpoints and completing the compulsory COVID health declaration. These are among the most effective measures to create an effective shield for preventing the risk of the virus being transmitted from new arrivals from other Vietnamese localities, especially areas affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Da Nang has gone 29 straight days without recording any local transmissions. This shows a positive signal that the pandemic situation has been controlled effectively in the city. However, it has brought warnings against complacency as COVID is still a threat to Da Nang amid the complex developments of the pandemic in the country.
