The Summit Building Da Nang project fined VND150 million for illegal construction

The Da Nang People’s Committee has levied a fine of VND150 million on the Summit Building Da Nang project at 350 Nguyen Van Linh, Thac Gian Ward, Thanh Khe District, for illegal construction.

The project, developed by the Summit Building Co., Ltd., was found violating the minimum building elevation rules and the already-granted construction permit. Work on this project is currently being  suspended.

Besides, the municipal administration demanded that within 60 days from the date of booking a record of administrative violations, the Summit Building Co., Ltd. carry out procedures to ask for approval by competent forces on its adjustments to the construction permit.

Past the above-mentioned deadline, if the company fails to present the adjusted construction permit to the competent authority, the forcible dismantling of the infringing construction works shall be applied to the project.
