Following recent approval from the Da Nang government, the Police Hospital No 199 has been used as a temporary hospital to treat patients infected with the new coronavirus (nCoV) in the city if any.
According to Dr Truong Xuan Hung from the hospital said that with its spacious and modern infrastructure system, the 400 – bed hospital gets ready to deal with any possible cases of the virus.
The Public Security Hospital No 199 has 4 specialised rooms to treat nCoV-infected patients.
The Police Hospital No 199 has 4 specialised rooms to treat infected patients.
The 9th floor of the 11-storey hospital is designated as a quarantine site for confirmed cases of the virus

The quarantine area features a total of 17 rooms. Of this, one room
has only 2 beds, whilst the remaining 16 rooms provide 31 beds in total.
In case of need, a 100-bed field hospital for coronavirus patients will be built on a vacant land next to the hospital
Municipal People’s Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho (front row, centre) has agreed to use the Police Hospital No 199
