Ta Lang – Gian Bi Eco-Agriculture and Community-based Tourism Cooperative makes debut

The Ta Lang – Gian Bi Ecological Agriculture and Community-based Tourism Cooperative made its debut in Hoa Bac Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang on Saturday.

The Cooperative has more than 90 members who all aim for the benefit of the community, preserving the Co Tu culture, and creating jobs and improving the lives of local people.

In the immediate future, the Cooperative will concentrate on developing an experiential tourism programme called “Learning with Mother Nature” for students from kindergarten to university levels. Specifically, it will coordinate with schools and businesses to organise more experiential programmes with many unique activities in order to contribute to preserving and promoting the cultural values ​​of the people of the two villages of Ta Lang and Gian Bi.

In the agricultural sector, the Cooperative will gradually learn and develop agricultural production suitable to natural soil conditions, build brands for Co Tu agricultural products, and connect supply and demand for consumption of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products according to the Co Tu market model.

Moreover, the Cooperative will also get involved in providing forest planting, forest protection and forest environment care services to preserve nature and forest ecosystems.

In particular, the Cooperative has a commercial name “Omely Co Tu Hoa Bac” to promote and attract tourists.
