A new Da Nang-Daegu book-coffee park opened to the public on Wedneday at the Dam Rong 2 playing area cum community house located on Ngo Chi Lan Street, Thuan Phuoc Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang.
This inviting place features a total of over 1,000 new book titles classified into various genres to meet diverse demands of readers. Also, tables and chairs are arranged neatly and modernly.
In addition, the park is equipped with modern facilities to serve the demand for entertainment amongst kids.
The park was constructed at a cost of 15,000 US$ (350 million VND) funded by South Korea-based Rotary Club.
To mark this occasion, Rotary Club also donated 2,000 US$ (23 million VND) to studious poor pupils residing in Thuan Phuoc Ward.
Previously, a similar venue worth 45,000 USD$ funded by the Da Nang and Daegu budgets had been set up at the Hoa Cuong residential area on the corner of Le Co and Le Ba Trinh streets in Hoa Cuong Bac Ward, Hai Chau District.
