Second facility of Da Nang Maternity – Pediatric Hospital brought into operation

Set on 26C Chu Van An Street, Hai Chau District, second facility of the Da Nang Maternity and Paediatrics Hospital has come into operation the city from today, June 15.

The facility formerly known as the Da Nang Women’s Hospital has come second facility of the Da Nang Maternity and Paediatrics Hospital pursuant to the Resolution No. 284/NQ-HDND dated December 12, 2019 issued by the municipal People’s Council.

The municipal Department of Health issued operating permit for this facility on May 10.

This medical facility will offer gynecologic and obstetric care and treatment services, including ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, ectopic pregnancy after it came into operation

In addition, this facility will also provide treatment and care services for child patients who suffer from digestive diseases, Renal and urological disorders, neonatal disorders, respiratory diseases and more.

Doctor Tran Dinh Vinh, the Director of the Da Nang Maternity and Paediatrics Hospital, said that the hospital’s second facility brought into operation aims to meet the growing demand for medical care, contributing to to ease the burden on increasingly overwhelmed main facility of the hospital located at 402 Le Van Hien Street, Ngu Hanh Son District, as well as increasing access to healthcare services for children and woman in Da Nang.
