Ready for 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival

The 3rd edition of the Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF III) will take place in the city from June 29 – July 5. To date, almost all preparations for the film festival have been completed, showing the city’s readiness to serve local people and visitors.

With an expanded scale in both duration and professional depth, DANAFF III promises to bring a colourful film week. So far, the reparatory works for DANAFF III have been actively deployed and completed by relevant units.

Publicity and communications are already in full swing. Across media platforms and social networks, information about DANAFF III, especially details on special guests, renowned actors, and screening schedules, has been widely spread, drawing great attention from the public and the press.

Also, more than 500 banners and 4 large billboards have been hung along local downtown streets, facilitating people and tourists to easily access, grasp the event’s programme and watch the attractive films screened in this film festival.

In addition, preparations for facilities, information and propaganda, resources and human resources for the cinemas including Le Do, Vincom Plaza, Galaxy Cinema, and Lotte Cinema, have also been synchronously deployed and are ready to welcome people and tourists to watch movies.

With over 100 films and 200 screenings – the largest number ever, the city has printed and distributed more than 20,000 tickets to people, especially young audiences (students).

Moreover, the city’s Centre for Culture and Cinema has proactively worked with localities to prepare for environmental sanitation, electrical infrastructure, and installation of large LED screens to screen outdoor movies for local residents.

It is known that DANAFF III will have 3 outdoor movie screenings at the APEC Sculpture Park (June 30), the East Sea Park (July 1) and the square in front of the current Lien Chieu District Administrative Centre (July 2).

More than 20,000 free tickets at the third edition of the Da Nang Asian Film Festival are distributed to the public.

This year’s film festival promises to bring together many good domestic and foreign movies.

The billboard cluster promoting and introducing films shown in the upcoming film festival is located at the Dragon Bridge area for easy access by locals and tourists.
