Cultural space honouring late Party chief opens in Da Nang

A cultural space dedicated to the life and legacy of late Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was inaugurated in the central city of Da Nang on August 5, which coincided with the 94th anniversary of the Communist Review where he served as Editor-in-Chief for nearly three decades.

The space showcases a rich collection of his books and articles published in the review, serving as a tribute to his exceptional leadership and contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the country, said head of the standing office of the Communist Review for the central and Central Highlands Tran Tho Quang.

Organisers, including the standing office, the municipal branch of the Su That (Truth) National Political Publishing House, and the Da Nang Companion Book Club, plan to expand the exhibit and maintain it as a long-term resource for visitors and researchers.

Trinh Quoc Bao, head of the book club, highlighted the cultural space’s role in spreading the General Secretary’s spirit of patriotism, continuous learning, striving, solidarity, simplicity, ethics, and responsibility to young people.

This space aims to protect and promote the values of national culture, helping the younger generation understand their responsibilities to the country and motivate them to study hard and contribute to national development, he said.

The exhibition is open to the public for one month./.
