Reinforcing Vietnam’s role in regional aviation

This is the second time Vietnam has been selected by CANSO to host the CANSO Asia-Pacific Conference, following its first edition in Ha Noi in 2017.

Hosting the event affirms the growing role of Vietnam and VATM in the regional air traffic management community as well as reflects the confidence that ICAO, CANSO and international partners place in the country’s organizational capabilities and contributions to aviation safety and air navigation services.

The rapid recovery and growth of air transport have opened up new opportunities for economic development, trade, tourism and people-to-people exchanges.

Unlocking opportunities through regional cooperation

Held under the theme “Accelerating implementation of air navigation services modernization and unlocking opportunities through regional collaboration”, the event highlights the aviation sector’s need not only to modernize technology and infrastructure but also to strengthen cooperation, information sharing and harmonized standards among countries, service providers and industry partners.
