Representing the delegation, Dr. Urs Lustenberger, Chairman of SwissCham ASIA and founder of Lustenberger & Partners Law Firm, informed about some important mechanisms for establishing an international financial center. Included were the establishment of enterprises, the creation of an international arbitration center, and the development of a robust financial framework to build confidence among foreign investors.
He emphasized that mechanisms and policies remain top priorities for international investors. Therefore, in developing the financial center, Da Nang should ensure safety, transparency, and fairness for all investors by establishing an arbitration center that includes both Vietnamese and foreign judges.
He also stressed the need for Da Nang to continue aligning with existing legal frameworks and creating a favorable legal corridor. The delegation hoped to open up many cooperation and development opportunities between Switzerland and Da Nang in the coming time.
For his part, Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh thanked Dr. Urs Lustenberger for his sharing. He affirmed that the city would study the recommendations to perfect the legal framework and put the International Financial Center in Da Nang into effective operation as soon as possible
He added the city aimed to develop a modern International Financial Center in Da Nang, closely linked with the ecosystem of innovation, digital technology and sustainable finance, thereby creating a controlled testing platform for new financial models.
Da Nang also intended to pioneer the expansion of digital asset products, digital payments, specialized trading platforms, and dedicated exchanges, as well as develop flexible, innovative financial products, he emphasized.
