Tiếng ViệtDa Nang People’s Committee recently issued Decision No. 4640/QD-UBND establishing the Da Nang Innovation Center. The center is merged from the Da Nang Innovation Startup Support Center, the Da Nang Biotechnology Center, and the Da Nang Semiconductor and AI Center (DSAC).
The Da Nang Innovation Center is tasked with organizing activities related to scientific research, training, technology development and transfer, and career development.
Furthermore, it provides various services associated with the support and promotion of innovation, innovative startups, biotechnology, microchips, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence (AI).
The center also handles information and statistics regarding science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation to serve the state management activities.
The Da Nang Innovation Center will be officially put into operation on November 1, 2026. It will be responsible for the tasks of the three previously merged centers pending the decision of the competent authority defining the center’s functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure.
