Most recently, Da Nang partnered with the central provinces of Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam and Quang Binh to conduct tourism marketing activities in the Ha Noi-hosted Viet Nam International Travel Mart (VITM) 2020 running from 18 - 21 November.

At the four-day expo, the tourism departments of the four central localities participated in a joint booth named ‘Four Localities - One Destination’, targeting at introducing their local tourism products and services, festivals and unique souvenirs to visitors.

Remarkably, Da Nang will make the debut of another tourism campaign to welcome in the New Year 2021 late this month so as to tempt back visitors.

Also in late November, Da Nang will attend a forum in Quang Nam Province on promoting the tourism links and cooperation between the central key economic region and Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi.

Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Tourism Nguyen Xuan Binh remarked that the forum would provide a good chance for the participating localities to introduce their tourism potentials and together create a wide range of new high-quality products which meet the diversified needs of tourists in the coming time.

Most notably, Da Nang will host guests from Ha Noi on a familiarisation (FAM) trip to the city to survey tourism products and infrastructure in the city, as well as make exchanges of appropriate ideas to boost win-win tourism cooperation in the time ahead.

Beyond immediate measures to boost domestic tourism, Da Nang is preparing different plans to welcome foreign visitors from countries and territories that have contained the coronavirus pandemic next year.

Besides, tourism businesses across the city have been encouraged to sign commitments to ensure best practice to remain safe and prevent coronavirus from spreading.

Visitors to Da Nang are required to fill in electronic health declaration forms and install Bluezone, a Bluetooth-based app that helps determine if a person has come into contact with a Covid-19 patient, on their smartphones to facilitate the rapid tracing of infections.
