Project for building Hoa Lien Water Plant approved

The Da Nang authorities have approved a project on building the Hoa Lien Water Plant at a total cost of 1,170 billion VND funded by the city budget.

The intention of the project is to provide fresh water for the districts of Lien Chieu, Thanh Khe, Hai Chau, Son Tra, and Hoa Vang.

The project will be divided into 2 stages. Accordingly, the 1st stage of the project will feature the construction of a spillway on the Cu De River to source water with a daily capacity of 120,000m3 of water, a water pumping station with a daily capacity of 120,000m3 of water, and D1400 raw water pipelines with a daily capacity of between 120,000m3 and 240,000m3 of water.

The Da Nang authorities have invited bids for building the Hoa Lien Water Plant. The bidding is open to all contractors who have experience in construction and management of infrastructure projects. Bidding documents are available from 2.00pm on 27 August to 2.00pm on 16 September.

The focus will be on designing and constructing the Hoa Lien Water Plant with a daily capacity of 120,000m3, installing technological equipment, and building pipelines, a pumping station, and a spillway.

The project is expected to be implemented within 450 days starting from the signature date of the contract.
