Strict local lockdown order has been declared in additional areas in Son Tra District, Da Nang, by Son Tra District authorities in efforts to combat the spread of the Delta variant.
The new rules came into force from 4 pm today, August 3, until further notice, and are applied to areas along Nguyen Cong Tru Street, from the section of the eastern bank of the Han River to T- junction of Nguyen Cong Tru – Ho Nghinh streets, plus from the intersection of Ho Nghinh Street and Ha Chuong Street to beaches in the North of Son Tra District, including An Don Industrial Park and Tho Quang Fisheries Service Industrial Zone.
Eligible vehicles are still allowed to travel on 2- lane Ngo Quyen Street, and COVID-19 taskforce have erected roadblocks and enforced new rules at turning ways into local lockdown areas.
