Digital Trade and Regional Connectivity Week 2025 kicks off in Da Nang

Delivering his speech at the opening ceremony of the week, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade Huynh Xuan Son emphasized that digital technology has had a profound impact on all areas of life. E-commerce is not only an inevitable trend but also an important driving force to promote growth model innovation, and enhance the competitiveness of businesses, business households and the whole economy.

The week aims to support businesses and small traders in accessing and applying digital transformation and e-commerce solutions to production and business activities.

At the same time, it helps promote OCOP products, specialties, and typical goods of Da Nang and other localities to consumers and tourists, and on digital platforms.

In her remarks at the ceremony, Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy Le Hoang Oanh highly appreciated Da Nang’s initiative in digital transformation that has helped the city achieve significant progress and create a solid foundation for sustainable digital economic development.

She also stressed the need for the city to perfect institutions and policies to promote e-commerce, as well as effectively provide online public services in managing e-commerce activities for businesses in order to create a sustainable digital economy with connectivity between regions and localities.

The Digital Trade and Regional Connectivity Week – Da Nang 2025 features more than 80 booths showcasing OCOP products and typical regional specialties of the city and other localities across the country such as Dien Bien, Ha Noi, Phu Tho, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Hue, Quang Tri, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Dong Nai and An Giang.

Also, numerous digital transformation solutions of many leading digital transformation enterprises such as TikTok Shop, Shopee, Zalo, Vinaphone, Accesstrade, Haravan, Sapo, and VNPay are introduced at the programme.

Additionally, visitors to the event have a chance to participate in free experiences, trials, training, and tutorials on using digital transformation products and services, including livestream sales.
