COVID-19 prevention measures for people coming/returning to Da Nang from another province/city (According to Note No. 7085/UBND-SYT dated October 19, 2021 by the Da Nang People’s Committee)

1️⃣General requirements

– Before coming/returning to Da Nang City, you must register on the Danang Smart City app (select “Đăng ký vào thành phố Đà Nẵng”/”Register to enter Da Nang”) or https://khaibaoyte.danang.gov.vn (select “Người dân khai báo, đăng ký vào thành phố Đà Nẵng”/”Declare and register to enter Da Nang”) and save the QR Code given after finishing declaration to use when entering Da Nang.

– Strictly comply with the Ministry of Health’s 5K measures (Facemask – Disinfection – Distance – No gathering – Health declaration) and existing COVID-19 prevention measures set out by the Ministry of Health and Da Nang City.

– When arriving at a checkpoint in Da Nang, if you experience any suspected COVID-19 symptoms (such as fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, loss of smell, and loss of appetite), you shall be tested (for free) before entering the City.

2️⃣Those coming/returning to Da Nang from provinces/cities classified as level 1 or level 2 (1) must self monitor their health and comply with current COVID-19 prevention measures and regulations.

3️⃣For those coming/returning to Da Nang from provinces/cities of level 3:

a) Testing: You must have a negative SARS-CoV-2 test (RT-PCR or rapid antigen test) within 72 hours prior to arriving in Da Nang. In case of test result not received yet, if you wish to enter the City, you must be tested (with a rapid antigen test) and pay for the test at the City’s checkpoint.

b) Medical isolation measures: No isolation required, but self health monitoring and compliance with current COVID-19 prevention measures and regulation must be implemented.

4️⃣For those coming/returning to Da Nang from provinces/cities of level 4 and medical isolation areas (2):

a) Testing: You must have a negative SARS-CoV-2 test (RT-PCR or rapid antigen test) within 72 hours prior to arriving in Da Nang. In case of test result not received yet, if you wish to enter the City, you must be tested (with a rapid antigen test) and pay for the test at the City’s checkpoint.

b) Medical isolation measures:

– Those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have recovered from COVID-19 (3): Home quarantine for 7 days since the date of arrival, and testing twice on 1st and 7th days.

– Those who are not fully vaccinated: Home quarantine for 14 days since the date of arrival, and testing for 3 times on 1st, 7th and 14th days.

– In cases your home quarantine conditions are not met, you shall be sent to a centralized quarantine facility or a quarantine hotel.

– Elderly, people with underlying medical conditions, pregnant people, and people under 18 subject to quarantine shall undergo quarantine at home or at a medical facility (if necessary) with a caretaker as regulated.

c) Testing and quarantine fees shall be paid by individuals coming/returning to Da Nang. Poor and near-poor households might be considered for financial support.

5️⃣For working delegations and drivers transporting goods or passengers coming/returning to Da Nang from provinces/cities of level 4 or medical isolation areas:

a) If staying in Da Nang for less than 24 hours:

– Must have a negative SARS-CoV-2 test (RT-PCR or rapid antigen test) within 72 hours prior to arriving in Da Nang. In case of test result not received yet, if you wish to enter the City, you must be tested (with a rapid antigen test) and pay for the test at the City’s checkpoint.

– Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 with at least one dose.

– Must travel on a fixed route in accordance with the working/transport plan. Do not stop in any pandemic hit areas.

b) If staying in Da Nang for more than 24 hours: Measures set out at Section 4.b) shall be applied.

c) If you are entitled to quarantine but need to leave Da Nang before completing your quarantine period, you must have a plan approved by the Department of Health before coming/returning to Da Nang.

6️⃣For those coming/returning to Da Nang from provinces/cities which have not announced their levels of pandemic risk according to the Government’s Resolution No.128/NQ-CP and the Minister of Health’s Decision No. 4800/QD-BYT: Measures set out at Section 4 shall be applied.

This Note shall replace Note No.6900/UBND-KGVX dated October 12, 2021 on temporary guidance on COVID-19 prevention measures for people coming/returning to Da Nang and amend previous documents regulating goods transport vehicles entering/leaving the City.
