Da Nang has claimed the third spot in the E-Commerce Business Index (EBI) 2025, moving up a place from 2024.

According to the recent report released by the Viet Nam E-Commerce Association (VECOM), Ha Noi has led the 2025 ranking with 74.7 points, and Ho Chi Minh City has been in the second place with 73.5 points.
The EBI is based on three main criteria: infrastructure and human resources, business-to-consumer (B2C) transactions, and business-to-business (B2B) transactions. A locality’s ranking depends on improvements in these criteria and their subcomponents.
The average score for the index this year is 9.3 points, underlining the significant disparity in e-commerce development between Ha Noi, HCM City, and the remaining provinces and cities.
Da Nang scores 76.9 points in the index of infrastructure and human resources, 2.7 points in B2C transactions, and 62.6 points in B2B transactions. The total score of three component indexes of Da Nang is 28.1 points.
