OCOP products honoured at Da Nang fair

The Da Nang Vietnamese Goods Fair – Honouring OCOP Products in 2025 officially opened at the Da Nang International Exhibition Fair Centre, 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Cam Le District on Wednesday.

Co-organised by the city’s Department of Industry and Trade and the municipal Department of Agriculture and Environment, the event features 230 booths of 150 enterprises, organisations and individuals from Da Nang and 33 provinces and cities nationwide.

Delegates were seen cutting the ribbon to open the 2025 Da Nang Vietnamese Goods Fair – Honouring OCOP products.

Mrs. Le Thi Kim Phuong, Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, discussed with delegates about the development potential of OCOP and typical products of Da Nang.

Delivering her opening speech at the event, Mrs. Do Thi Quynh Tram, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade, said that 2025 marked the 16th time the Da Nang Vietnamese Goods Fair has been held, affirming its position as a prestigious annual event.

The fair focuses on promoting and introducing typical OCOP products of Da Nang and many provinces and cities across the country, thereby contributing to spreading the value of Vietnamese goods and boosting local economic development.

“OCOP products not only reflect the creativity and efforts of the producers but also reflect the cultural identity and rich resources of the country. We believe that this year’s fair will offer many opportunities to businesses to introduce diverse, rich, quality products at reasonable prices to consumers in the city” said Mrs. Tram.

The products introduced at the fair are diverse in industres, bringing many choices to consumers.

The products being showcased at the fair encompass a wide range of fields including industry, agriculture, handicrafts, garments, leather shoes, fashion, general trade, food, agricultural products, beverages, pharmaceuticals, traditional craft village products, OCOP products, regional characteristics, typical rural industries, information technology products and services, health care and education.

The Da Nang Vietnamese Goods Fair – Honouring OCOP Products in 2025 is in response to the campaign “Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese goods”.

Lasting until June 16, the fair is open to visitors and shoppers from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm daily.
