290 social housing apartments at Bau Tram Lakeside project open for lease

The Da Nang Department of Construction announced on June 18 the third round of the reception of applications for social housing rental at the project on lot B4-2 of the Bau Tram Lakeside Green Urban Area, with a rental price of VND 78,000/m²/month.

The social housing apartment project on lot B4-2, known as Bau Tram Lakeside Urban Area, is located in Hoa Hiep Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, and is invested by the Saigon – Da Nang Investment JSC.

The development includes six 21-story towers with rooftop structures and a basement. In the round, 290 apartments are available for rent, with each having an area of 36m² to 70m². The monthly rental price is VND 78,000/m², inclusive of 5% VAT and a 2% maintenance fee.

Households and individuals who want to register to rent social housing should contact the investor directly for guidance and submit their applications. The contact address is at the office of the Social Housing Project Management Board at lot B4-2 in Bau Tram Lakeside Green Urban Area (500 meters from Me Linh Street turning into Huynh Dang Street, Hoa Hiep Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang). Applications are accepted from now until July 15, 2025, from Monday to Saturday morning each week (excluding holidays).

Households and individuals can use the application form for social housing rental registration according to Decree No. 100/2024/ND-CP, Circular No. 05/2024/TT-BXD, Circular No. 56/2024/TT-BCA, Circular No. 94/2024/TT-BQP or according to the notice posted on the Department of Construction’s Electronic Information Page (https://sxd.danang.gov.vn) or receive it directly from the investor (free of charge).

Eligible applicants are defined under Clauses 1 to 11 of Article 76 of the Housing Law, and those under Clause 7 who serve in the armed forces and have not yet received housing support.

Other groups include people with meritorious service to the revolution and families of fallen soldiers eligible for housing support; poor and near-poor households in rural and disaster-affected areas; low-income individuals in urban areas; workers and employees in enterprises, cooperatives, and industrial zones; officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers, police workers, and civil servants in active duty; cipher staff and those working in organizations receiving state budget salaries; public employees as defined by the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants; those returning public service housing as per Article 125 of the Housing Law (excluding violators); households and individuals affected by land clearance without compensation in the form of housing or land; and university and college students, vocational trainees, and students at public ethnic boarding schools.

The application form for social housing rental includes a social housing rental application form according to Form No. 01 – Decree No. 100/2024/ND-CP, and documents proving that the subject is entitled to social housing support policies.

The municipal Department of Construction emphasised that the review process will be conducted strictly to ensure fairness and transparency. In case the number of valid applications exceeds the number of apartments, the investor will organise a public draw under the supervision of the competent authorities. According to the Department of Construction, this project is part of the city’s efforts to realize social security policies and address urgent housing needs for the people.
