NA Vice Chairman pays pre-Tet trip, extends wishes to Da Nang

National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairman Sen. Lieut. Gen. Tran Quang Phuong on Saturday visited and extended Tet wishes to the Da Nang leaders. Standing Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee cum Chairman of the municipal People’s Council Luong Nguyen Minh Triet chaired the reception.

Also present at the event were municipal People’s Council Vice Chairwoman Cao Thi Huyen Tran, municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Tran Phuoc Son and the leaders of the Da Nang Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF).

NA Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong hoped that the Da Nang leaders would always uphold the high sense of solidary to actively implement appropriate decisions.

He also underlined a must-do for Da Nang to create a solid foundation for its socio-economic development, with a focus placed on developing the digital economy, continue to strengthen defence and security and ensure social order throughout the city.

On behalf of the city’s leaders, Standing Deputy Secretary Triet thanked the NA Standing Committee and NA Vice Chairman Phuong for actively supporting Da Nang over the past time.

Noticeably, the NA has encouraged, supported and guided the city in many aspects of work, especially the issuance of the Resolution. No. 119/2020/QH14 on piloting the organization of urban governance model and a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the city’s development. Thanks to this, Thereby, the local government and people were happy and excited to overcome all difficulties and carry out socio-economic development tasks.

In the coming time, it is hoped that the NA to continue to pay more attention and support for Da Nang, especially in removing bottlenecks, difficulties and obstacles in a bid to open up more development resources and opportunities for the city.
