Party Sec. points out tasks for new school year

Yesterday, Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Ba Thanh attended the opening ceremony for the 2012-2013 academic year at the Nguyen Trai senior high school in Lien Chieu District.

He praised the teachers and students for their outstanding achievements in the last academic year and said he hopes the school will carry on with its efforts to affirm its position as one of the five best senior high schools in Da Nang.

who got top marks in this year’s senior high school entrance exams for Nguyen Trai School.

The city leader stressed the need to improve the quality of comprehensive education, to help the students promote their self-study, creativity, critical-thinking and scientific research, and to encourage outstanding students to eventually join the city’s public service to meet the increasing demand for high-quality human resources.
